Sierra Vista is one of the fastest growing communities in Southeastern Arizona. Sierra Vista (Spanish for "Mountain View") is located just 70 miles southeast of Tucson. The city is surrounded by the Huachuca, Dragoon, and Mule Mountains, and is adjacent to the San Pedro River. At an elevation of 4,600 feet, Sierra Vista boasts magnificent mountain views and a temperate year-round climate, lots of sunshine, and clean, fresh air.

 

The city of Sierra Vista offers a broad range of community facilities.

 

There are two bowling alleys, a community center, nine parks, three libraries, one museum, many churches, three rodeo arenas, two riding clubs, two racquetball clubs, five public ball-fields, three indoor theaters, two public golf courses, one tennis club with 12 lighted courts, six Little League multipurpose fields which convert into soccer and softball, nine public tennis courts, two volleyball sand courts, two full basketball courts, and many other exciting activities.
